What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative- Clinic - Viroqua position at Vernon Memorial HealthCare Inc?
A .9375 full time position is available for a Patient Service Representative to work primarily at our Viroqua Medical Clinic location Viroqua, WI and other clinic locations as needed. The Patient Service Representative duties include greeting and scheduling patients, collecting required information to accurately process patient registration, multi-line telephone reception, co-pay collection, customer service and general clerical duties.
The hours for the Patient Service Representative are weekday shifts (ranging from 7am - 5:30 pm) with rotating Saturday hours. Saturday rotation will occur approximately every 6th Saturday, from 7:45am- 12:15pm.
The Patient Service Representative candidate must have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and provide service with a sense of compassion a must. Experience as a receptionist in a medical setting with proficient data entry and computer skills strongly preferred. Experience with Epic a plus.
