What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Department- Nurse Intern position at Vernon Memorial HealthCare Inc?
Limited part-time opening available for the Nursing Services department, primarily in the Emergency Department. Will be responsible for providing patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Work with a wide variety of patients with varying levels of acuity, disease processes and ages in a challenging rural hospital setting.
Hours are 12-hour Night shifts, 7p-7a, with every 3rd weekend rotation. We offer flexible scheduling to work around school schedule. Qualified candidate must be currently enrolled in a nursing program at a recognized School of Nursing. Completion of 1 year of a 2-year accredited nursing program or completion of 3 years of a 4-year accredited nursing program along with current CPR certification required.
