What You’ll Do
- Coordinate referrals, monitor work queues, and schedule appointments.
- Verify documentation and send complete referral information to the appropriate departments or facilities.
- Communicate with patients, providers, and outside facilities to support timely follow-through.
- Manage faxed records, information-release requests, and related patient care workflows.
- Support specialty referrals and provider scheduling.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Healthcare office experience is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology and records is helpful.
- Strong computer, organization, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, collaborate effectively, and protect confidential information.
