Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and establish patient-centered treatment goals.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions including exercise prescription, gait training, and balance training as appropriate.
- Interpret and implement physician orders.
- Assess patient status and functional progress; maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate updates and progress to referring providers and insurance companies.
- Monitor patient response to treatment, identify contraindications, and modify plans of care to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Educate patients and families on assistive device use, home exercise programs, and therapeutic techniques.
- Promote safe and effective use of equipment and therapy spaces.
- Stay current with advancements and best practices in physical therapy.
- Provide in-service training for clinic and hospital staff and participate in staff development initiatives.
- Current Wisconsin Physical Therapist license
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Hours between 7am- 5pm, based on patient needs
- Weekend/Holiday rotation
- Starting wage: $41.50/hour, with increases based on experience
