Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher who is reliable, energetic, and truly passionate about working with young children. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a team environment and is committed to supporting children's development through play, exploration, and care.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and routines
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Assist with supervising children during play, meals, and transitions
- Encourage positive social interactions and model appropriate behavior
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Communicate effectively with team members and families
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a daycare or early childhood setting (required)
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Energetic, nurturing, and patient demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
