What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal position at Vernis & Bowling?
Vernis & Bowling is seeking a full-time paralegal with at least 3 years of experience working in civil litigation, preferably at an insurance defense law firm with General Liability exposure.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, litigation case management, public records review, preparation of filings and documents, document summaries, mediation, deposition, and trial preparation. Paralegals are expected to record and bill their time.
Candidates must be highly organized with strong communication skills and be fully computer literate (including proficiency in Word/Outlook). Candidates must also be capable of typing/preparing documents, including correspondence and other legal documents.
