What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Credit Analyst position at Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA)?
Vermont Economic Development Authority has an immediate opening for an experienced professional, with relevant skills, to join its team as a Credit Analyst. The work location can be in VEDA's Burlington, Montpelier, or Middlebury offices and some remote work may be available after an initial period. This position reports directly to the Director of Credit.
As the statewide economic lender, VEDA provides financing to businesses and farms across Vermont, often in partnership with private financial institutions and government agencies. VEDA's Credit Analysts support our non-profit organization by analyzing borrower and potential borrower credit and by providing support for loan origination and loan servicing actions. Primary responsibilities for this job position include reviewing loan applications, preparing loan narratives/credit write-ups and keeping borrower financial information current.
Preferred candidates will have at least 3 years or more of commercial credit analysis experience and a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business, or a related field. VEDA offers a competitive salary range of $54,000 - $86,400 for a Credit Analyst position and $58,500 - $93,600 for a Senior Credit Analyst position. In addition, VEDA offers an excellent benefits package for all full-time job positions.
