Part-time dining aide

If yes, we invite you to apply for our part-time dining aide position at St. Joseph's Residential Care Home. The position is from 4pm – 7pm. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and a willingness to promote the vision, mission, and values of the Home to ensure a friendly, home-like environment for all our residents.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities of the Dining Aide

• Serve meals in a timely, friendly, and respectful manner
• Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and meet sanitation standards
• Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and maintain a hygienic work environment
• Follow all food safety guidelines and facility protocols

Qualifications for Dining Aide

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to work well as part of a team
