Role Overview
As a Universal Banker at Vermillion State Bank, you will deliver exceptional customer service, execute day-to-day transactions with precision, and partner with customers to understand their financial needs and guide them toward solutions.
You'll bridge the roles of teller and personal banker helping to open new accounts, promote digital banking options, and support the branch's growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a positive, professional attitude, whether in person, by phone, or via electronic channels.
- Accurately process banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, transfers, and cash handling.
- Maintain and reconcile cash drawer, adhering to all security and cash-handling policies.
- Assist customers in setting up and using online/mobile banking, bill pay, card management, and other digital services.
- Open and maintain checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and business accounts.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $25 – $35 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
