Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
- Develop and execute tailored care plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy practices such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics.
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions to improve patient outcomes in areas like post-surgical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
- Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and self-care techniques to foster long-term wellness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and adhere to medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across inpatient, outpatient, home health, and clinic environments to optimize patient care and recovery pathways.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Demonstrated experience in acute care hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate assessments and treatment planning.
- Proven ability to develop effective care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Experience with EMR systems for documentation and patient record management.
- Familiarity with inpatient rehabilitation protocols, outpatient therapy techniques, and home health services.

Pay: $44.27 - $53.31 per hour
