What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Telematics Coordinator position at Vermeer Texas-Louisiana?
The Advanced Telematics Coordinator knows and understands what telematics could potentially do to provide a superior customer service experience. The Advanced Telematics Coordinator must establish and maintain productive relationships with customers and co-workers. The position analyzes telematic data and status, initiates processing, tracks and implements corrective actions, and leads & controls processing of telematics related tasks. The Advanced Telematics Coordinator keeps Leadership apprised of any potential quality issues or maintenance issues, to ensure optimal use of these resources.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Communicate effectively with all branches to ensure we have provided great customer service
- Establishes preferred method of contact with customers
- Responds to customers in a timely manner to coordinate repairs and maintenance
- Organizes service calls to perform maintenance and machine repairs
- Creates policies and procedures for our ever-growing telematics department
- Performs follow-up customer satisfaction surveys to ensure we are providing excellent service
- Sells the customer extended warranty and preventive maintenance packages
- Represents company at factory, industry and company events, including meetings and training
- Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
Desired Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of three years working experience in a related field
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to details, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to prioritize
- Computer skills required, including all Microsoft Office applications
- Background check and pre-employment drug testing required
- Personal appearance must be neat and clean
- The environment is mainly inside, sometimes inventories will be taken outside
- Certain positions require a valid driver's license and ability to meet requirements of the Company Driver Policy; Vermeer Texas-Louisiana will review motor vehicle records annually for all employees for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function or when employees must obtain and drive rental vehicles during the course of conducting company business
