Position Summary
The Accountant is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties, including general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable processing, financial reporting, and processes. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supports compliance with accounting standards, and contributes to the overall efficiency of financial operations.
Essential Job Functions
- Generate and distribute customer invoices.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances.
- Apply payments and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Compile financial reports and summaries for management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and GAAP standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in cross-function financial projects.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and accounting software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable.
