Job Summary

We’re looking for a dedicated team player to build machines for customers across the globe.
What You’ll Do
- Follow provided job instructionss to assemble equipment and subassemblies for attachment to equipment per Vermeer's quality standards.
- Align components and bolts then fasten them according to torque specifications, install moving parts and test to ensure parts move as intended.
- Inspect painted parts to ensure quality.
- Apply decals, company logos, safety warning notices and other items to the finished product. May also attach doors, panels and other machine guarding.
- Calculate figures and apply basic mathematical functions including fractions and decimals.
- Support 5S/workplace organization goals of the department and offers suggestions and makes improvements that assist in achieving the department’s performance board metrics.
- Ability to complete Vermeer Assembly Training.
- Ability to complete a specified number of tasks in a certain amount of time repeatedly.
- Ability to consistently meet quality expectations.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals throughout the organization.
- No travel is expected of this position.
