Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Hazmat Tanker Driver to transport hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a strong safety record, and experience handling hazardous cargo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tanker trucks to transport hazardous materials to designated locations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including DOT and EPA guidelines.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including delivery records and manifests.
- Follow proper loading and unloading procedures for hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow spill containment protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicle.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements.
