What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account/Collection Specialist position at Verliance Inc?
Fast paced collection agency seeking motivated individuals with at least 1 year of outbound phone experience.
***Must Have experience working in an office on the phones in Collections, Customer Service, Phones sales and/or Telemarketing.
Candidates must be goal oriented, computer literate and have the ability to work independently as well as in within a team.
*****Jobs requires a lot of learning and critical thinking.*****
Hours 7-3:30pm M-Thurs and Friday 7-12.... no late night or weekends. 37 hour work weeks
Hourly pay $16.00 commission along with full benefits package.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Contact business/person and make a demand for payment to bring the account to current status in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
2. Negotiate best settlement arrangement possible and perform related internal processes.
3. Utilize advanced skip tracing or collection techniques and other available resources for accounts where there has been difficulty establishing phone contact.
Qualifications and Skills
Demonstrate strong negotiation and escalation skills; ability to negotiate assertively when required. Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of resources to research and resolve delinquent accounts.
Demonstrate excellent judgment skills when responding to inbound/outbound calls.
Ability to listen and communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing to influence outcomes.
Ability to proactively achieve goals and objectives, which positively impact our overall business.
Strong ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task.
