Job Description
- Connect customers to America's fastest and most reliable network by installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, inside wiring, and wires at poles, underground, or building terminals.
- Operate and maintain trucks and equipment needed to perform work operations safely.
- Install, repair, maintain, and test access lines for all types of equipment and technology.
- Perform construction work using designated equipment for digging holes, placing poles, laying cable/conduit in the ground, and unreeling, pulling, and stringing wire/cable on poles.
- Read and interpret engineering plans and vendor specifications.
- Climb ladders and poles, work aloft, perceive differences in wire and cable colors, and move/lift items generally not exceeding 100 lbs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Related Associate Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- CDL or ability to obtain CDL.
- Completed Verizon Technician Program or similar programs covering electrical or lineman training.
Salary : $62,400 - $143,000
