This position of Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with the on-going operations of the administrative department, to include workforce coordination. He/she assists and supports the translation of Trinity Memory Care's philosophy into practice by participating in the scheduling, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the care delivery system.

This position of Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with the on-going operations of the administrative department, to include workforce coordination. He/she assists and supports the translation of Trinity Memory Care's philosophy into practice by participating in the scheduling, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the care delivery system.

- Must be proficient in scheduling and staffing management.
- Exceptional people and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Intermediate level of computer and technology competency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Microsoft Windows applications is a must
- Passion for working with seniors
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Promote a safe environment for all residents, visitors and associates of Trinity Memory Care
- Work with the Executive Director and the Care Staff to maintain staffing and scheduling
- Implement and maintain an accurate record for each Trinity Memory Care Employee
- Work with the Administrator to interview new care staff employees.
- Supervise, listen for, and respond to the resident call and emergency systems.
- Supervise the Care Staff in giving day to day care to the residents (i.e., bathing assistance, health monitoring, etc.).
- Maintain current knowledge of state and local regulations and strive to achieve and maintain 100% compliance with the appropriate federal, state and local Assisted Living regulations; comply with all surveys conducted by their licensing/certifying authority.
- Assist in continuously training the Care Staff on resident status, resident care activities and Assisted Living requirements.
- Maintain Department compliance with the operating budget through use of purchase order system and budget control procedures (including appropriate prior authorization on capital expenditure purchases).
- Establish good working relationships with residents, families, and Care Staff through ongoing use of Company Policies.
- Approach all encounters with residents, visitors and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Participate in hiring, training, motivating, supervising and evaluating all department associates.
- Attend and participate in all meetings and training as directed by Company policy and the Wellness Director.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when on duty, and coach department associates to meet this same standard.
- Ensure understanding of and compliance with all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident, associate, Community or Company information deemed as such.
- Participate in MOD (Manager on Duty Weekends per rotation)
- Other duties as assigned.
