Verity Investment Partners is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and client-centric Associate Financial Planner to join our growing team. As an Associate Financial Planner, you will play a hands-on role in servicing clients, supporting planning initiatives, and maintaining the operational excellence of our wealth management platform. Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning
- Draft client financial plans and track workflow of financial planning actions to meet deadlines.
- Support lead advisors in portfolio administration and meeting preparation.
- Assist advisors in answering questions from clients; interact with clients in-person and over the phone.
- Keep current and report on relevant changes in legislation (as it pertains to financial planning) and updates within various financial planning tools.
- Build deep relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster long-term trust and engagement.
- Grow into role of lead advisor for client relationships
Operational & Planning Support
- Run quarterly performance reports and manage Orion portfolio reporting system.
- Maintain and update planning software (eMoney).
- Identify and implement ways to continuously improve the client experience.
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic initiatives to grow and enhance VIP’s wealth management offerings.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- CFP® designation.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial services with a focus on financial planning.
- Experience working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and professional discretion. Enjoy building relationships with clients.
- Proficiency with financial planning software (eMoney) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Commitment to a client-first approach and fiduciary responsibility.
- Ability to work in the office Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, in Beaufort, SC.
