Overview
Looking for senior, hands-on data engineers to support a modern data platform initiative.
This is a code-first engineering role — not traditional ETL or reporting.
Candidates with experience in health payer environments are strongly preferred — specifically supporting data across Clinical, Claims, or Provider domains. Ideal candidates understand how to work with healthcare data models, business logic, and large-scale datasets in these areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion → transformation → analytics-ready)
- Develop using SQL Python (PySpark preferred)
- Implement data quality checks
- Work in Git-based development (PRs, version control)
- Support CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders on data logic and definitions
Must-Have Skills
- Strong SQL Python
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
- Lakehouse experience (Delta / Iceberg / similar)
- Git CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Proven experience building production-grade pipelines
Nice to Have
- Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric
- dbt
- Orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.)
