Location: Dallas, TX
Data Engineer (10 years of experience) strong in Spark structured streaming, Databricks, Python and SQL.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years of experience
- Structured Streaming Experience
- Databricks experience building data pipelines and workflows is a must
- Advanced skills in Spark, SQL, python
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design/Development, data mining and other segmentation techniques
- Experience coding with a team utilizing repositories and multiple coding environments
- Experience working with IOT and/or geospatial data in a cloud environment (Azure)
- Responsible for data ingress into storage
- Must possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with data conversion, interface and report development
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Process improvement and automation a plus
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Databricks Data Engineering certifications
