The Rotating Internship at AVSG Internal Medicine, Emergency, & Critical Care/VSSOC offers a comprehensive, fully mentored clinical education program with a robust introduction to Small Animal ER, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. Our team is a close-knit, collegial group of medical professionals dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient and client care.
This will be a rotating internship with primary blocks consisting of assignments to Emergency, Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Radiology. Elective blocks in other specialties located at Jamboree Plaza will be available with mutual agreement between all parties. Participants will receive well-rounded training, spending 50% of their time with primary case care in Emergency/Critical Care and the other 50% across other specialties. Our program prioritizes quality experience, education, and mentorship, with all rotations (including overnights) under the direct supervision of an experienced veterinarian.
Interns have two days off per week, usually together and two weeks of PTO.
