What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Banker position at Veritas Partners?
Our client, a bank with locations in North Jersey, is currently seeking a new addition to their commercial banking team. The incumbent will manage small business relationships and have the ability to originate SBA, C&I and CRE loans.
Responsibilities
- Work with companies with revenues up to $50MM
- Collaborate with branch network to drive new business
- Drive business development efforts in Bergen County, NJ
- Establish and recommend terms under which credit will be extended, including interest rate, fee(s), repayment structure and collateral requirements.
- Review loan agreements and documentation prior to loan closing
- Generate qualified referrals across Bank lines
Qualifications
- Over five years of commercial banking and/or business banking experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance preferred
- Must be motivated to develop new business
- Ability to leverage COIs for new business
- Good commercial credit knowledge
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
Salary : $150,000 - $185,000
