What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Manager position at Veritas Partners?
As a Real Estate Associate, you will support our operational, strategic, and investment decisions by:
- Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, rent rolls, and capital expenditure budgets
- Researching and evaluating economic, demographic and real estate market data
- Leading conference calls and on-site meetings with property management partners
- Conducting property site inspections and market tours (travel may be required)
- Creating financial analyses, including operating budgets, cash flow projections, and investment return calculations
- Creating memos for presentation to senior personnel
- Coordinating/managing due diligence review and closing process for various transactions
- Assisting with arranging and closing debt financing
- Presenting property performance to the entire firm quarterly
- Working closely with multiple property management teams to implement and manage business plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials, with preference for majors in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or Property Management
- 3 to 7 years relevant experience (including internships) working in real estate asset management
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
- Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong proficiency with Excel
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
