Vice President of Operations
Are you passionate about operations in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to lead our team at Veritas Partners Client.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in healthcare operations, who is driven to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and align operations with revenue management cycle goals. The successful candidate will partner closely with providers to ensure seamless collaboration between clinical and non-clinical teams, support strategic initiatives for growth, and prepare the organization for long-term expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct assigned staff, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, applicable laws, and regulations.
- Interview, hire, train, and develop employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline as needed.
- Provide leadership and administrative oversight to assigned programs and support functions, including budgeting, quality, staffing, and performance metrics.
- Participate in strategy development and implementation, focusing on practice growth, acquisition, and negotiation of new practices into the network.
- Develop and implement action plans to maximize patient access and ensure timely appointment availability.
- Collaborate with the compliance team and providers to review and suggest improvements to the quality reporting system.
- Train staff on key revenue cycle functions and EMR strategy.
- Provide monthly and annual statistical data analysis, interpretation, and variance reporting, with corrective action plans.
- Evaluate reports, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance financial outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred.
- Seven years related experience required, Ten years preferred.
- At least five years of direct healthcare operations management experience.
- Prior experience assessing and managing a P&L.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare field and medical terminology.
- Strong customer service skills, high ethical and professional standards, and a continuous improvement mindset.
This is an in-person role that requires a minimum of three days per week, ideally four or more, across one of the 20 office locations in the Philadelphia Metro area.
