Shift Availability: Part time, Thursdays & Fridays 8am-6:30pm with a half-hour lunch. Weekend and holidays may be required.
Pay: $16.50-$17.00/hour, dependent on experience
Job Description: The primary responsibility of this position is to answer phones, greet visitors and new patients, and support the staff in day to day functions as needed.

- Answer telephones and direct calls to the appropriate department
- Greet visitors and direct to appropriate office or resident room
- Give directions and/or information to visitors, guests, residents, etc.
- Assist with administrative duties (i.e. typing, filing, etc.) as directed
- Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA requirements

Education, licensure, certifications, and experience:
- Must possess a current and valid fingerprint clearance card (FPCC).
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years’ experience in a skilled nursing facility, or other medical facility, is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to tactfully work with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
