What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing-RN position at Veritas Management Group?
- Be able to lead the clinical team with a sense of purpose and accountability; utilize metrics and established goals.
- Oversees the medication management services, including training and audit of medication administration practices, collaboration with prescribing healthcare providers and pharmacy staff
- Identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through assessment and service plans utilizing the nursing process
- Visit prospective/current residents in their homes or healthcare settings as needed to assess for admission/readmission to the community.
- Clinical liaison with families, residents, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Direct the infection control measures for the community
- Work collaboratively with others on the community leadership team
- Manage and coordinate the work of the clinical staff. This includes overseeing and/or completing required training, staff schedules monthly and daily work assignments.
- Provide on-call clinical support as needed.
- Understand the importance of being state survey ready, every day
- Have a current driver’s license
- A passion for enhancing their quality of life
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact license or ability to obtain is encouraged. An unencumbered license is required.
