Job Title: Resident Engagement Coordinator

As a Resident Engagement Coordinator (REC), you will engage directly with residents, build meaningful relationships, and connect them to essential Veritas programs and local resources. Your creativity and passion for community building will make a lasting impact, helping support residents' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with Residents: Build relationships with residents in person and virtually (via phone calls, emails, and texts).
• Enroll Residents and Promote Engagement: Actively reach out to residents to enroll them in Veritas programs and connect them to local resources while meeting monthly engagement metrics.
• Partner with Leasing Teams: Collaborate closely with leasing teams to enhance outreach efforts and increase program enrollment.
• Travel On-Site: Visit communities to connect with residents directly, fostering personal relationships and providing program support.
• Document Engagements: Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and support timely reporting, including documenting with pictures and sharing impactful stories monthly.
• Support Community Outreach: Develop and execute marketing outreach through calls, texts, emails, and in-person visits to promote resident engagement.

Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the US.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must have reliable transportation for local travel (80%).
• Must have own computer and phone.
• Availability for part-time hours, including weekends or evenings.
• Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Organized, learns quickly, self-disciplined, and able to multi-task.
• Relevant experience in education, social work, or nonprofit work.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese (preferred).
• Background in property management, social work, or related fields (preferred).
• High school diploma/GED (required); Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
