Veritas Eye Care Holdings is seeking a skilled, personable Licensed Optician to join our Kenmore team. What You’ll Do
· Custom Fitting & Styling: Guide patients through selecting frames, lens options, and coatings that best fit their lifestyle, prescription, and style.
· Patient Education: Clearly explain lens materials (digital progressive, blue light, anti-reflective, high-index) and contact lens options to patients.
· Practice Operations: Assist with optical inventory management, lab ordering, and insurance authorization verification as needed.
Qualifications
· License: Current New York State Ophthalmic Dispenser License (NYS Licensed Optician required).
· Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with optical computer software.
· Attributes: Reliability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic—perfect for stepping into a flexible role with long-term intent.
