Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Location: Near Hurley, Wisconsin (On-site)

Overview:
Veritable North is seeking a hands-on and customer-focused IT Director to lead our internal technology operations. This critical role involves managing day-to-day IT systems, infrastructure, and internal support across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with solid expertise in servers, databases, workstations, and networking—plus the ability to support or maintain internal tools (Python a plus).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily IT operations including servers, databases, workstations, and network systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across departments
• Provide excellent internal customer service to support staff and operations
• Lead or contribute to development of internal tools and automation solutions
• Ensure data integrity, security, and backup protocols are implemented and effective
• Coordinate with vendors and support partners as needed
• Maintain and improve system documentation and internal IT procedures

Qualifications:

• 5 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in an IT leadership or systems admin role
• Minimum of a 2 year associate's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments (server & workstation)
• Solid knowledge of networking, databases, and system security
• Experience with scripting or programming (Python preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with internal stakeholders
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, manufacturing-driven environment
