PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Work in the interesting and complex world of corporate restructuring and learn from one of the top administrative-support providers in the country. We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong SQL skills to join our Fund Accounting Distributions team. Supporting a global, high-volume payment platform that interfaces with domestic and international banks/FinTech and multiple currencies. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing Distribution data across our payment system, banking partners, digital payment providers, and ensuring accurate reconciliation between internal registers and financial institutions records. You will work closely with Banking, Audit and Distributions teams to maintain data integrity, identify discrepancies and ensure such activities comply with the court-approved Settlement Documents and internal Verita policies.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
• Process and analyze large-scale transaction datasets – handle files containing millions of transactions, ensuring efficient ingestion, validation across high-volume, high value multi-payment channels.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Leverage AI and automation
• Develop cross-domain expertise - collaborate with Banking, Legal and Technology to define requirements, identify issues, and solution design.
• Assist with daily and periodic reconciliations and reporting
• Assist with audit and compliance – provide ad-hoc data analyses as it relates for payment flows, banking integrations and digital payment vendors
• Participate in continuous process improvement activities to maximize efficiency and drive automation of core related Banking functions
• Attend required meetings, both internal and external, and provide necessary updates as requested
