Responsibilities
- Create and/or utilize existing internal systems and workflow to effectively complete processes in a timely and efficient manner as well as document communication with customers.
- Facilitate and support communication, implementation and setup of new & existing customers via Phone, Email, Skype, etc.
- Data processing and loading; design and implementation of test plans; facilitate QA through all test phases and iterations.
- Create and maintain documentation that will support the effective implementation of repeatable processes and workflows. Effectively utilize all programming guides & instructions to analyze the quality of data received from customers, data providers and other sources, and recommend actions for data quality improvements.
- Attend meetings to collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and ultimately resolve issues. Use ticket tracking tools to effectively communicate with respective teams.
- Work closely with the Product and Operations Management staff in the development, implementation, maintenance and regular distribution of useful measurement reports that will have high visibility at the leadership and executive level.
- Analyze complex processes and workflows to identify and implement improvements to increase productivity and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, scrap, rework, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize Snowflake to execute complex queries for data analysis and reporting. Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation to support business insights.
- Respond to and fulfill data requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret requirements and translate them into actionable queries.
- Four-year college degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
- 2-3 years’ experience in data operations providing technical or analytical services in both B2B and B2C environments a plus.
- Experience within the insurance or financial services industry, focus on underwriting preferable.
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex concepts into language that is understandable and compelling to business decision makers.
- Driven, self-motivated and self-directed; comfortable working in teams and independently to complete projects.
- Must be highly organized and able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of databases, dashboards and a familiarity with SnowFlake SQL, PowerBI, Flows, Excel, PowerQuery, and programming
