The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing operations and work performance within the billing team
- Responsible monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual invoicing
- Frequent contacts to the various business units to clarify billing allocations and contract questions, as well as requests from client services teams with prompt replies.
- Responsible for handling customer inquiries and providing resolution.
- Review existing processes with a focus on standardizing
- Recommending improvements in processes to increase the effectiveness of operations
- Supporting management with ad hoc activities
- Active participation in the implementation of new accounting software, including providing input, testing functionalities, and identifying potential improvements,
- Being a first point of escalation for billing team
- Monitoring and improving team member knowledge and filling the gaps
- Analyzing data to identify and solve complex problems
- Critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to use own judgment and make sound decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment
- Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Must be able to perform duties with or without standardized processes in place
- Able to reconcile revenue expectations vs. actuals on a monthly basis
- Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned
- Able to work with both internal and external audit groups
- Minimum 5 years of accounts receivables/billing
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Bachelor's degree: Accounting preferred
- PeopleSoft/Oracle experience a plus
- Willing to work as a both process expert and people supervisor
- Excellent attention to detail
- Works well in a team environment
- Analytical thinking and attention to details
