We are seeking an experienced Technology Architect – Healthcare EDI with 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise EDI integrations, preferably within the healthcare payer domain.

- Develop and maintain Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Integration Accounts.
- Design and develop applications and integrations using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Work with EDIFECS for EDI processing, mapping, transformation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Implement and support HIPAA EDI transactions, including:
- 278 – Healthcare Services Review
- 834 – Benefit Enrollment and Maintenance
- 837 – Healthcare Claims
- 270/271 – Eligibility Inquiry and Response
- Handle EDI mapping, transformation, validation, and error management.
- Configure and manage Trading Partner Agreements (TPAs).
- Implement and support communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTPS.
- Monitor EDI workflows and proactively troubleshoot failures, performance issues, and integration errors.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and other technology groups to deliver reliable integration solutions.
- Ensure integration solutions follow security, compliance, scalability, and operational best practices.
- 10 years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with EDIFECS.
- Strong Java development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Azure Integration Services.
- Experience with Azure Logic Apps and Integration Accounts.
- Strong knowledge of EDI architecture, mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Experience with HIPAA healthcare EDI transactions.
- Experience developing REST APIs.
- Strong troubleshooting and production-support skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business, QA, infrastructure, and technology teams.
