Responsible for administration, performance, security, and availability of Oracle 19c databases in a mission-critical environment. Ensures reliable access, optimal performance, and effective backup/recovery for all users and applications.
- Resolve database-related user issues and production incidents (performance, connectivity, data access)
- Manage backup, recovery, archiving, and storage processes to ensure data protection and availability
- Monitor and tune database performance using AWR/ADDM/Statspack and adjust parameters as needed
- Manage user accounts, roles, privileges, and database security
- Support database documentation, standards, and data modeling activities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and support for high-availability environments
- Oracle 19c DBA (10 years): installation, configuration, backup & recovery, upgrades
- Database schema and user management (10 years)
- SQL performance tuning (7 years) using AWR/ADDM/Statspack
- Unix/Linux shell scripting (6 years)
- Data Pump / import-export utilities (6 years)
- Oracle GoldenGate (6 years): installation and replication setup
- Data modeling (5 years) using ERwin (logical and physical models)
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
