Job Description
- Architect and optimize low-latency networks for trading and market data systems
- Deliver exchange, broker, and managed service provider connectivity
- Own network design, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization
- Support global colocation infrastructure (capacity, access, vendors, logistics)
- Lead and deliver complex network projects in mission-critical environments
Required Experience
- 20 years’ experience in network engineering
- Proven expertise in ultra-low/low latency trading and DMA environments
- Strong knowledge of exchange protocols (FIX, ITCH, OUCH, binary, Pillar)
- Experience supporting trading systems across multiple asset classes
Technical Skills
- Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN/VxLAN, QoS, HSRP/VRRP
- Multicast: PIM, IGMP v2/v3, MSDP
- Architectures: Spine-Leaf, MLAG/vPC
- Platforms: Cisco Nexus
- Market connectivity: Global exchanges, tick data, FIX order flow
- Monitoring: PCAP tools, Corvil (preferred), PTP (nice to have)
- Automation: Python (preferred)
