Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer and support Oracle 19c databases in RAC (Real Application Clusters) environments.
- Implement and maintain Oracle Dataguard with Physical Standby configurations for disaster recovery.
- Manage RMAN backup and recovery processes to ensure data protection and availability.
- Use Oracle Data Pump (export/import) for data migration and maintenance.
- Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring and performance tuning.
- Manage storage using ASM (Automatic Storage Management) on Linux platforms.
- Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of database issues.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with standards.
- Create and maintain database documentation and operational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with application teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, specifically with Oracle 19c.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC and Dataguard Physical Standby.
- Expertise in RMAN for backup and recovery.
- Proficiency in Oracle Data Pump, Enterprise Manager, and ASM on Linux.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Linux or Unix system administration is a plus.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server is a bonus.
