Compensation: $33/hr
Job Description:
- The quality inspector shall support on-site to perform documentation, visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
- Validate all product and paperwork compliant to including but not limited to: engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
- Inspect Certificates of Conformance from material, external suppliers, and other service providers to ensure these items conform to customers purchase order requirements and specifications
- Perform a wide variety of conventional/traditional inspection operations utilizing various inspection techniques
- Report via operating systems for Customer and Verify while communicating any non-conformance while providing reject or rework disposition. Must be willing to utilize personal laptop to complete task.
Candidate must posses at least 5 years experience with:
- Inspection of tight tolerances
- Complex assemblies, Large Mill Turn Parts
- Special Processes
- J-STD 001 Soldering inspections
- Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard and knowledge is required, including complete review of technical data package for full traceability of documents.
- EXperience with both mechanical and electronic inspections (PWB,PWA)
- Experience using various inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Requirements:
- Posses soft skills to clearly communicate non-conformances internally and externally
- Candidate should be computer savvy and MUST be willing to use personal laptop to complete inspection reporting via SPP (Supplier Performance Platform)
- Must be willing to utilize personal cell phone
- Must be willing to work in fast paced manufacturing environment and posses all PPE required per suppliers safety requirements.
- Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, maneuver
- Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
