Position: Source Inspector
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: On-going contract - 1099
Frequency: 8 hours per visit - 1-2 visits/month
- Candidate will be inspecting circuit card assemblies at supplier site. Should be well versed working with electronics and with defense requirements.
- Candidate MUST have 10 years of hands on experienced working with electronics, specifically printed boards.
- IPC Certification Required for candidate (610, 620, or 600 can be considered)
- This electrical source inspector shall travel to supplier facility to perform visual and dimensional inspections on electronic assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies specifically printed boards.
- Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
- The inspector will be required to report inspection accept / reject information directly to the customer via web application or microsoft office tools.
- Inspect printed boards and review necessary paperwork at supplier location.
- Complete required documentation and submit to customer in timely manner.
Qualifications
IPC Certification
10 years of electrical inspection in an aerospace/defense/manufacturing environment.
