  • You take ownership of follow-through, proactively tracking commitments and keeping people aligned without needing to be the technical expert in the room.
  • You’re comfortable working in a technical, cross-functional environment where attention to detail, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recurring engineering and product meetings, including schedules, agendas, materials, action items, and follow-up.
  • Maintain visibility of active engineering initiatives, priorities, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and outstanding actions.
  • Track product development and certification milestones from requirements definition through testing, documentation, approval, and release.
  • Coordinate handoffs among Engineering, Product Development, Sales, Operations, Quality, and other stakeholders to keep responsibilities, deliverables, and timing clear.
  • Proactively follow up on open tasks, identify missed handoffs or schedule risks, and escalate concerns to the appropriate project or engineering leader.
  • Maintain engineering workflow and standards documentation, including CAD/BIM templates, submittal package checklists, project records, and related process documents.
  • Support administration of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and applicable third-party product certifications, including UL and FM.
  • Coordinate audit, inspection, testing, and certification schedules and organize the documentation required to support these activities.

Experience & Education

Required

  • Associate degree in Business, Engineering Technology, Project Management, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in project coordination, process coordination, engineering administration, technical program support, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience tracking multiple projects, tasks, deadlines, or cross-functional workstreams.
  • Ability to read, understand, and coordinate around technical documentation without being the technical subject-matter expert.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using project, task, or workflow management systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing, fire protection/life safety, engineering, or another regulated technical environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience supporting UL, FM, or other third-party certification processes.
