Role Description This is a contract, on-site React Developer Sr./Lead role based in Greater Phoenix Area, AZ. The professional in this position will design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React and related front-end technologies. Daily responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical specifications, implementing reusable UI components, and optimizing application performance and scalability. The role involves collaborating with back-end developers, QA, designers, and product stakeholders to deliver secure, high-quality features on schedule. The React Developer Sr./Lead will also provide technical leadership, perform code reviews, mentor team members, and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong front-end development skills, including React and core JavaScript, with experience building modern, responsive user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux.js and related ecosystem tools.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, including version control, testing, debugging, and CI/CD workflows.
- Exposure to or collaboration with back-end web development teams, including working with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
- Experience as a senior or lead engineer, including technical mentorship and conducting code reviews.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments; familiarity with TypeScript, testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library), and cloud platforms is a plus.
