CCI Finance Manager
Large Regional Enterprise Organization – Buellton, CA (outside of Santa Barbara) – Up to $150K, plus discretionary bonus
A growing organization is seeking a Finance Manager to support financial operations across multiple business areas, including manufacturing, property accounting, and real estate-related functions. This role reports directly to the CFO and will serve as a key individual contributor within the finance team, partnering cross-functionally with accounting and operational leadership. The company is targeting a hands-on finance professional who is comfortable owning processes, analyzing financial performance, and helping drive operational decision-making.
Location & Travel
- Preferred candidate will relocate to the Buellton, CA area
- Relocation assistance available:
o $5,000 relocation package
o 30-day housing stipend (extension possible if needed)
- Company is open to candidates located in:
o California
o Arizona
o Nevada
o Oregon
- Hybrid flexibility available, though the preference is for someone able to be onsite approximately one week per month
- Quarterly travel required to Colorado and Florida
Compensation
- Base salary range: $114,289 – $142,861
- Flexibility available for highly qualified candidates
- Bonus opportunity: approximately 2.5% based on company performance
Responsibilities
- Support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis initiatives
- Partner closely with the CFO on strategic finance and operational initiatives
- Manage and analyze cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environment
- Assist with property accounting and real estate-related financial functions
- Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operational and accounting teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and financial efficiencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA required; CMA designation is a plus - if candidate has passed 1-2 exams they will consider this
- 5–7 years of relevant finance/accounting experience
- Experience within manufacturing, property accounting, and/or real estate environments strongly preferred
- Strong background in cost accounting and operational finance
- Ability to operate independently in a lean finance environment
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
