SUMMARY: The Facility Outreach Specialist assists in maintaining the organization’s successful relationships with various healthcare facilities whose patients utilize NEMT.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for advocating and scheduling NEMT services and fostering positive relationships with healthcare facilities.
- Effectively and timely communication with healthcare facilities regarding NEMT trips and other concerns as presented.
- Responsible for educating members and healthcare professionals about the NEMT program and guidelines.
- Responsible for assisting facilities and members with the resolution of problems and complaints.
- Will assist with monitoring the Standing Order Email.
- Will assist with assigning Standing Orders to providers as directed via Verida’s State Director.
- Will assist with trip recovery when necessary, which includes dispatching Lyft and contracted providers to transport.
- Responsible for performing facility “Pulse Checks” for facilities that are designated as high priority or monitored.
- Responsible for regularly updating the organization’s facility contacts.
- Responsible for maintaining an ongoing log of all contact made with facilities, whether they be via email, phone calls, and or visits.
- Communicate daily with internal leadership as it pertains to facility outreach concerns.
- Participate in daily meetings with Leadership to update status on any outstanding facility outreach issues.
- Responsible for actively engaging in the community, attending local events and health fairs, and building and maintaining strong partnership through outreach efforts.

- High level of technical competence including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
