What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations & Product Specialist position at Vericom Global Solutions?
The Operations Specialist is a critical role responsible for applying operational discipline to the organization’s entire product ecosystem. This role helps to maintain product integrity, preventing errors, and ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous inspection, verification, and documentation.
This position works cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Distribution Partners to assist in executing product strategies aligned with customer needs and company growth objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
- Partners with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to complete our product ecosystem
- Work closely with Product Mgt. & Product Mkt. to create a unified front for executive and stakeholder communication
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop and adapt systems and processes based on team needs to ensure a smooth workflow and product lifecycle
- Work with internal/external stakeholders to enforce those processes
- Gather, capture and clean data for all product lines
- Record product information within internal systems
- Coordinate within internal product team to test new products, functionality, features, and/or packaging
- Identify data trends and anomalies
- Assist in the management of sales enablement tools
- Perform regular inventory control activities such as cycle counts
- Use accepted inspection methods to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance of all incoming materials and finished products
- Assists with root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for nonconforming products
- Support Sales with inventory availability questions
- Knowledgeably guide Sales to available product reference material or information
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or related field
- In Person Position. Knoxville, TN
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience working with ERP, inventory, or business management systems
- Detail-oriented approach to workflows, reliably documenting key information
