Position Summary
The Product Manager, MACI is a downstream marketing leader responsible for execution and optimization across the Orthopedic portfolio (MACI and MACI Arthro). This role translates approved brand strategy into compliant, high-impact marketing initiatives that drive commercial growth, enhance field effectiveness, and support customer engagement.
This individual owns tactical planning and execution across promotional materials, sales enablement, and cross-functional content development, while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and financial commitments.
The role reports to the Associate Director, MACI Marketing and serves as a key cross-functional partner to Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, and external agency partners.
Schedule: This position is in-office from Monday – Thursday in our new Burlington, MA location, with flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Execution & Campaign Management
- Lead execution of approved brand initiatives and promotional campaigns.
- Translate brand strategy into actionable briefs, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop, update, and maintain compliant print and digital promotional materials.
- Monitor competitive landscape and market dynamics to inform tactical execution.
- Serve as primary marketing point of contact for field material needs.
- Develop and deploy sales enablement tools and field-facing resources.
- Triage and prioritize inbound field requests across regions.
- Communicate launches, updates, and revisions to field teams.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Sales to identify content needs and align customer-facing materials.
- Lead coordination and submission of materials through the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process.
- Ensure all materials adhere to approved claims and regulatory standards.
- Manage day-to-day engagement with agency partners, including development of creative briefs, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure agency scopes of work align with brand priorities, timelines, and approved budgets.
- Own day-to-day financial tracking for MACI marketing initiatives, including forecasting, accrual coordination, spend monitoring, and reconciliation.
- Partner with Finance to ensure alignment to approved budgets and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing to establish and refine lead nurturing protocols, ensuring appropriate prioritization and marketing follow-up based on segmentation and engagement.
Success in this role will be evaluated based on measurable business and operational outcomes, including:
- Contribution to MACI brand growth, including revenue and procedure volume trends
- Impact of marketing initiatives on pipeline generation and field effectiveness
- Quality, timeliness, and compliance of promotional materials
- Effective budget management and alignment to approved financial targets
- Responsiveness and value delivered to Sales and cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to translate strategy into high-impact, results-driven execution
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or regulated marketing environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated budget ownership, including forecasting and spend management
- Experience navigating MLR review processes
- Experience managing print production and digital promotional materials
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to travel up to 20-30%
- Orthopedic, surgical, or specialty marketing experience
- Experience managing agency partnerships
- Familiarity with Veeva or similar promotional systems
- MBA preferred
