Supervisor - Paint, Assembly, Blast
Job Summary
Verhoff Machine & Welding is looking for a Supervisor to manage the Paint, Blast, and Assembly departments. The ideal candidate would be a hands on supervisor and will be responsible for efficient operation of the departments and flow of products to the next operation; ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, assign, and supervise work to be done by employees in Paint, Blast, and Assembly departments.
- Maintain and document production processes, production levels, and quality standards established by management.
- Train new workers and instill quality, efficiency, and good work habits within department.
- Assist workers.
- Set up, maintain, and document maintenance procedures for paint line.
- Document paint usage and VOC recordings daily.
- Order all paint, materials, supplies, equipment parts and repair services.
- Make sure paint samples are completed and meet ISO requirements and Quality Standards.
- Calculate and manage how much paint dollars are on each load bar.
- Use and maintain accuracy with Material tagging system.
- Read Job Travelers, blue prints, drawings and instructions.
Experience
One year of experience is preferred.
Driver’s license required.
Must pass drug screening.
First Shift: 6:00am-3:30pm Monday through Thursday; 6:00am-10:00am Friday
Salary : $43,603 - $59,805
