CNC Programmer / Engineer Tech
Job Summary
Verhoff Machine & Welding is looking for a CNC Programmer / Engineer responsible for programming and operating power driven lathes, mills, and grinders. This position will analyze and create instructions after reviewing print to meet part specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read, analyze and interpret complex documents, blue prints, and customer drawings and perform all necessary calculations.
- Program, set up, adjust, and operate CNC horizontal and vertical mills to machine part to print specifications.
- Generate, write and/or edit CNC programs, create prototypes, fixtures, and manage tooling needs for department.
- Monitor the quality of parts produced, make adjustment as needed.
- Must be proficient with computer equipment/software, Auto Cad, ProE or SolidEdge, CNC MasterCam programming, and machine tooling design.
- Must be quality orientated with a high attention to detail and able to work with quality and manufacturing departments to define problems and implement improvements.
Experience
Technical Associates Degree or equivalent training and experience.
Minimum of 2 yrs. manufacturing experience or training; or equivalent combination.
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Driver’s license required.
Must pass drug screening.
First Shift: 6:00am-3:30pm Monday through Thursday; 6:00am-10:00am Friday
Salary : $59,489 - $81,918
