What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmworkers and Laborers position at Verellen Orchards Inc?
FARM LABORER: Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: plant, thin, prune, train,
position, maintain, and other general care of fruit trees and plants; remove weeds; maintain and clean up landscaping, farm and fields;
paint tree trunks and posts; stake plants; organize, clean and sanitize harvest tools, equipment and containers; operate tractors,
vehicles, and forklifts to complete farm tasks related to planting, maintaining, cultivating, harvesting, loading, unloading, and hauling
crops at, to and from employer owned/operated worksites; hand harvest to quality standards apples, pears, cherries, plums, peaches,
nectarines, grapes, and strawberries.
Pay will be hourly.
