Essential Position Functions
- Assist the Manager of Electricians in planning and coordinating electrical installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects.
- Support the documentation of electrical systems, including circuit layouts, panel schedules, and load calculations.
- Participate in energy audits, data collection, and performance measurements of electrical systems and equipment.
- Help analyze and interpret energy usage data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Assist in preparing project reports, material lists, and cost estimates.
- Observe and assist licensed electricians during installation and retrofit projects.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, materials used, and work progress.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local electrical codes.
- Support research and implementation of emerging energy-saving technologies and practices.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or on to three months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and energy efficiency principles.
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, or energy analysis software (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and sustainability.
- Valid driver's license.
- Local travel may be required.
