Full Job Description
Vereen's Turf Products is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in Kingstree, SC. This position is responsible for delivering turf, agricultural, and landscape products to customers throughout South Carolina and surrounding areas while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image of the company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Deliver fertilizer, seed, chemicals, and other turf and agricultural products to customers
- Load and unload products as needed
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
- Assist with warehouse operations when not making deliveries
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Agricultural, landscape, or turf industry experience is a plus but not required
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional overtime during peak seasons
