Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in fast-paced food and beverage environments. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, mixing drinks accurately, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Previous experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. The successful will contribute to an enjoyable guest experience while maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with customers to ensure a positive experience, taking orders and offering recommendations
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy periods using excellent time management skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service
• Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end

Skills

• Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Experience in food handling, food safety, and beverage preparation in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of retail math, basic math, and cash handling procedures
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations
• Previous experience in banquet service, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
• Familiarity with food industry standards, including food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
