Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with customers to ensure a positive experience, taking orders and offering recommendations
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy periods using excellent time management skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Experience in food handling, food safety, and beverage preparation in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of retail math, basic math, and cash handling procedures
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations
- Previous experience in banquet service, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
- Familiarity with food industry standards, including food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
